It’s a perfect match for someone trying to find an entry-level wader or just a great solution for cold weather without spending too much time to decide and too much money.

Anyone who is interested in waders has heard of those who bought a $1000 product and had a leaking problem from the first day, and those who bought a $60 product and did not encounter any problems in very harsh conditions for 3-4 seasons.
That’s why I’ve spent more than 30 hours investigating more than 500+ customer reviews to prepare this honest GOLD review for you.

Durability
When it comes to Wader, the slightest hole means leaks and ruins your day. For this reason, especially the shoe padding is extra reinforced for puncture protection.
On the other hand, the 3.5 mm neoprene upper body is equipped with a durable poly / jersey outer shell and a stretch lining.
The seam area is stitched, glued and taped to prevent the slightest leakage. These triple finish seams make the Wader extra strong and durable against leaking.
However, it is possible to encounter endurance problems over time when you start long walks toward hard-to-reach areas.
How Long Do Waders Last?
As a general rule, you can expect about 3-4 seasons of use without scratching a pair of mid-range with moderate use. However, it is possible to extend this period much more depending on the place of use and the way it is used or how often you used it.
Maintenance and Repair
The best way to fix any tears or leaks is to try to prevent them from happening in the first place.

Material
Neoprene TideWe waders are made of neoprene rubber material making them waterproof and quite warm. On the other hand, it makes it heavy and not breathable.
Basically, there are two types of material for waders: neoprene and breathable material.
Neoprene Waders vs. Breathable Waders
Frankly, I personally always prefer breathable materials for outdoor activities.
Breathable waders are thinner but keep in mind, you can always wear layers underneath. On the other hand, Neoprene can feel like with its hard shell surface you're wearing a space suit.
Breathable waders are slightly more expensive, fit better, are more durable, are much lighter, and wick moisture away from your legs for a more comfortable hunting experience. On the other hand, Neoprene waders are better for cold weather conditions.
Of course, this is a generalization. But these are the main differences between neoprene and breathable materials in general terms.

How can breathable fabrics be waterproof?
Water molecules are like a basketball and air molecules are like baseball.
So breathable material allows moisture throw out. In this way, it does not leak water in.
Of course, you don't feel like you’re wearing a pair of jeans or regular pants. Because it will be moisture inside in any way. But it’s ahead of neoprene for sure.
In summary, I can honestly admit that the breathable waders are a million times more comfortable than the neoprene. But the difference is not so noticeable if you don’t use it for the whole day with strenuous activities, especially in cold weather.
Lastly, 3m Thinsulate boots are amazing! This material is also used by all the big companies out there such as Drake, Cabela’s, and Bass Pro.

Warmth
TIDEWE waders are made with 600g insulation and a neoprene shell. It will definitely keep you warm and dry even in frigid winter temperatures. The boots are also made with 600 Gram 3M Thinsulate and keep your feet warm even if you prefer to wear them without socks.
Warning!
This product is not designed for hot temperatures! If you’re going to use it at 70+ degrees (around 21 C), You’ll need a breathable wader below 3.5mm. Neoprene will make you sweat in high temperatures if you're going to walk long distances.
For extreme cold temperatures below 10- degrees (around-12 C) I would also not suggest you go with the 600G version. You should choose 800G or higher material for cold temperatures. This product is perfect for early-season warm weather.
What is the difference between 600G and 800G?
600G and 800G are thermal insulation materials. 800G wader material will keep you warmer than 600G.
But beware! this does not mean the weight of the thermal insulation material. It is used only for the unit that separates the insulation material.
TideWe Waders Size Chart
I wouldn't recommend it if you’re a women's hunter and don’t like to wear wide cuts.
If you decide to buy, there is also a separate model and a separate size chart for women as well. Or you can basically choose among the men’s waders in smaller sizes that fit you.

I advise you to choose it on your foot. For example, if you’re wearing 13 you should probably choose the same line. But of course, you should consider all other data like waist, chest size, inseam, hipline …
DO NOT DO THIS!
In fact, TIDEWE wader is actually in loose shape and the shoe size is one size larger than normal shoe sizes.
But I definitely recommend you order your actual size even if you want to wear thick socks or a couple of pairs of socks. Many people wear this kind of boots without wearing socks. That’s why they complain about their actual size being larger for them.
Or they just order one size larger to wear with thick socks. Don't be like them!
In any case, you’ll have a right to return within a certain time. If it does not fit you, you can always return it!

Heating Design
The heated version is only available for 800G and 1200G which is quite normal since the purpose of this is to keep you warm.
TideWe heated waders have 3 adjustable heat settings. The working hours are also satisfying for this product.
And also batteries can be fully charged in 3-4 hours.
I’d like to warn you!
If you decide to go with the heated version, keep in mind that TideWe wader does not come with batteries.
Waterproof
Wading boots are designed to keep your feet dry. The most important expectation from a wader is to not leak any water inside.
The waterproofing of this wader is outstanding.
TIDEWE is not only used premium quality material on its products. It also takes some extra precautions to prevent any water leakage.
Tip!
Best way to keep your feet dry and warm is to combine your wading boots with a thick pair of wading socks.
Hand warmer pockets has an also a litlle drainage hole. Sometimes when you get water off that hight whlile bend over for example, the water is going to just drain out. This little hole can be life saver.
The design of the product provides a high level of sealing from the ground to the first opening (under arms). This is really important especially when you’re leaning over the water. So the wader doesn’t fill up with water inside.
REAL TRUTH!
Whichever pair you buy, expect at least one leak in the next 4-5 years. In the end, no matter what anyone says, THEY ALL DO IN TIME!
Breathability
I can easily say that your legs are going to sweat in any case regardless of whether the material is Gore-Tex or Neoprene. But your gear’s breathability feature will definitely reduce the amount of sweat. Unfortunately, TIDEWE Waders is not one of them. At least the 600G version...
Neoprene waders do not let moisture both in and out. This is a great solution to keep water out. However, unless it is not used in cold weather, it will make your legs sweat seriously.
In general, breathable waders are nice for long-distance walking. But TideWe Wader is a tank.
Comfort
This wader has a built-in rubber boot which is too comfortable. It can be worn with or without socks.
Although buying a built-in boot for a wedar is always a risk, TIDEWE comes with a high-quality boot so you can ignore that risk. It has a rugged boot tread pattern so makes better balance and traction on slippery surfaces.
Quality boots allow you to move with peace of mind in water or on rough slippery ground. I personally prefer to not cheap out on boots. Because nothing will ruin your day like cold/wet feet in the woods. But on the other hand, I think TideWe has done a really great job with boots.
My only complaint is there is no insole in the boots. But you can always add it by yourself.
It has a small kick tab behind the boots. It makes the boot can be easily take off.
Warning!
The stitch where the neoprene leg meets with the rubber boot is extremely sharp and serrated. You should wear at least a thin additional layer underneath.
The additional outer layer of protection added to the knee area serves as additional protection and impact absorption for actions such as kneeling and sitting. It is a huge difference, In my opinion, it’s impossible to imagine waders without them. It's important to feel absolute confidence when you kneel down in the marsh, you're not going to puncture these waders easily.
You have reinforced knees which is one of the most critical things you should consider while buying a wader for hunters. Because you can be down, crawling around. TIDEWE Wader has padded and doubled up on their knees. That means it’s probably last a lot longer than some of the cheap waders on the market.
Sometimes you may want to unclip the shoulder clips when not in the water. The TideWe wader includes an additional waist belt. When you tie the belt around your waist and unclip the shoulders, you can safely pull them down. The wader belt is going to keep them done up.
There are 2 D-loop buckles on the shoulder strap. But if you hang something there, mostly it will end up with extra strain on your shoulder straps and tears over time.
Adjustabilty
TideWe has a classic simple neoprene fabric suspenders design with loop attachments. The shoulder straps are adjustable to fit your actual size.
Warning!
If you have a skinny body you might have an issue with tightening the shoulder straps. They have a solid design for sure. Yet, although they have room to tighten, it’s not possible after a certain point.
It comes with an easily accessible and adjustable waist belt. As an additional feature belt has a 12-shell holder which ensures that the user can access the bullets for quick reloading.
Warning!
Boots are not detachable. If you’re thinking to use it with different boot. It’s not possible.
Shoulders have neoprene on them. It’s not just some nylon basic quality. Also, have a little more cushion. So they won’t just start digging into your shoulders in time.
Straps have elastic inside. This style provides an important adjustment opportunity in hunting clothes. However, they hang down in time because they do not support the actual weight of the waist belt.
Colors
There is no color selection for this product. It comes with Realtree Max5 camouflage which is great for stealth.
Consider that If you're going fishing, the color of the wader will have zero effect on your performance. But on the other hand, a "Camouflage" wader is vital for bowhunting.
Pockets
There is a hand pocket on the chest area which you can use to warm your hands (it’s very close to the warming area for 800G and 1200G models) and to keep small things dry.
There is a built-in water proff pocket inside But if you prefer to carry your wallet,phone,keys etc.
Another big plus is that there is no Velcro anywhere on the TIDEWE wader.
Velcro means unnecessary noise. Most importantly, it means wear. It is certain that it will wear out after thousands of openings and closings. A lot of times that velcro strap is going to wear out before your actual waders will.
Insulation and Layering
TideWe wader generally consists of 3 layers.Sealed durable poly/jersey outer shell, Heat insulation layer and inner stretch lining.
Be aware that this wader design is a little bit bulky for the cold weather to be able to create extra space for warm layers underneath. On the other hand,It is worth reminding again that it is not a suitable model for extreme cold.
The middle insulation layer protects you in cold weather. However, it is better not to keep your expectations too high. For extra cold, I recommend considering the TideWe 800G and TideWe 1400G models.
Warranty
All of their products have a 1-year warranty, especially against water leaks that are not caused by the user.

Personally, I don’t like t get free products. This is not a parameter for me to purchase decision. I basically want to purchase with my own money what I order. But of course you’ll need to protect your phone in the wild somehow.
Some brands are seeing the waist belt as an additional accessory and selling it separately. TideWe waders include a little belt strap. If you're buying a wader, this should be one of the additional features that you're looking for. You never know when you need it. It's a lifesaver.
Basically, it can be used to keep it from being too baggy. It also prevents cold air from getting in. You could prefer to wear them just to make the waders fit better and not look and feel as baggy up top especially in the early season when you don’t have as many clothes on.
Honestly, it can be easily said that TIDEWE Chest Wader has an affordable price with a similar quality if you don't want to pay for a high price brand-name.
Expensive waders can come with great features. But budget waders like TideWe can get the same basic job done and I HIGHLY recommend it.
Overall, I liked them a lot. It’s always hard to speak for long-term reliability and how well they hold up. But they work well with their nice and simple design.
As for the Brand, I can honestly say that they’re trying to make a great quality product to get their name out there more.
